My name is Pamela and I am from England but live in Sweden. I have over 20 years experience in teaching Science.
I have a PGCE in Secondary Science from Edge Hill University.
I also have a BSc for Psychology from University of Gloucestershire.
I moved to Sweden 20 years ago and work for the International English School, teaching from ages 11 – 16. Biology, Chemistry and Physics in English where English is a second or third language. My teaching plans are bilingual. Bilingualism is important for when students take science further and can link to real life in their own country.
I follow the Swedish curriculum Lgr22 and also the English curriculum for KS3, GCSE and IGCSE for KS4.
As a Mother and Grandmother, I understand the worries to help our children succeed. Sometimes they need extra support. Some children find it difficult at school and need extra support.
I offer global online Science tuition for KS3, GCSE, (KS4) IGCSE (UK) and LGR22 (Sweden).
When teaching, I support students with the areas they struggle with that they are covering in their school to prepare them for their exams, teaching the curriculum of the exam board their school follows.
Our online tuition uses Google Meet and I offer one to one tuition or small groups if there are parents that want to get together to organise group sessions.
For peace of mind, I hold up-to-date police clearance, renewed annually.
I have really enjoyed my Science lessons with Pam. She explains concepts clearly, makes learning engaging, and always takes the time to answer my questions.
