Mary Kariuki Bengtsson is an experienced educator, musicologist, and coach with a passion for helping both teachers and students grow with confidence. Originally from Kenya and now based in Sweden, she brings over 30 years of international experience in education, leadership, and teacher development.
Throughout her career, Mary has worked with schools, educators, and students across different cultural and educational environments. Before moving to Sweden, she served as Head of Music and Performing Arts in Kenya, where she led student teams in international cultural exchange programs and represented Kenyan education abroad through music and performance.
Mary is also deeply committed to teacher empowerment and modern education strategies. Her background in managerial psychology, communication, and cross-cultural education allows her to create engaging, supportive, and practical learning experiences. She has been recognized for her work in Sweden and was nominated as one of the country’s best teachers for two consecutive years.
Known for her warm personality and motivating teaching style, Mary believes that education should inspire confidence, curiosity, and lifelong growth.
